So we finally got Daniel up to the snow. It was a perfect day, fresh new snow, and the local ski place in the Jura has a little sledding area set aside, so we went down on the inflatable sled that we dragged all the way from Chicago. It's a two-seater, so we all got to pile on together. Daniel had a good time, even with dad throwing snow at him, and the snow boots mom couldn't resist and the ski pants and jacket from grandma served him well. I think his dad would have been a little disappointed if Daniel didn't share his affinity for the snow!
