Sassy monkeys. They were eating tomatoes - they'd eat all the soft flesh out and toss aside the skins! One reached through and got his fingers on Daniel's shirt, which put him over the edge. Since his little friend was also losing it over a skinned knee, we determined it was time to make a strategic retreat to the playground and ice cream stand at the exit.
 
But it turned out to be hard to get to the exit as this guy was doing his best to block the path. We eventually kind of went behind him, moms ferrying the kids and one stroller until everyone made it through. He didn't exactly seem dangerous, but he didn't exactly seem innocuous either, y'know?
