The officer who secured the "Distinguished Visitor Quarters" at US Army Camp Darby outside Pisa/Livorno, Italy. We were living the high life in a two bedroom apartment (almost twice the size of home?) and a small playground just out the door! Grandma also took us across the street to the comissary, where we stocked up on those American things you just can't get in France, like plain Cheerios, large jars of peanut butter, Johnsonville Brats, and Cheez-its =)
